Comment utiliser Winterboard pour appliquer un thème sur l’iPhone : 

Winterboard est une application gratuite pour l’iPhone jailbreaké qui vous permet d’installer des thèmes qui changent complètement(ou partiellement) son apparence. Elle vous permet aussi de changer le fond d’écran, le nombre d’icônes qui apparaît en bas de votre Springboard, et bien d’autres choses encore. Pour installer Winterboard, vous aurez besoin d’un iPhone jailbreaké avec Cydia installée.

Comment installer Winterboard

Sur votre iPhone :
Étape 1 :
Appuyez sur Cydia.


Étape 2 :
Appuyez sur Featured Packages.

Étape 3 :
Naviguez sur cette page, cherchez Winterboard(elle apparaît presqu’en fin de liste) et appuyez dessus.

Étape 4 :
Appuyez sur Install en haut à droite.

Étape 5 :
Appuyer sur Confirm en haut à droite.

L’installation va débuter. Attendez la fin de l’installation.

Étape 6 :
Appuyez sur Reboot Device qui apparaît en gros en bas de l’écran. Votre iPhone va maintenant redémarrer.

Comment appliquer un thème avec Winterboard

Winterboard a un thème par défaut qui s’appelle Saurik. Ce dernier n’apporte pas beaucoup de personnalisations, mais il vous montrera qu’un thème peut modifier l’apparence de l’iPhone. Plus bas, je vais vous montrer comment obtenir de meilleurs thèmes sur Winterboard, mais pour l’instant, je vais vous expliquer comment appliquer le thème par défaut Saurik. L’étape sera la même pour n’importe quel autre thème.
Étape 1 :
Sur votre iPhone, appuyez sur Winterboard.
Étape 2 :
Vous vous trouverez en face d’une liste. Cette liste comporte les différents thèmes que vous avez installés, mais aussi les modifications que vous pouvez apporter grâce à Winterboard.
Pour appliquer un thème ou pour faire tout autre changement, appuyez sur l’élément correspondant dans la liste. Pour le moment, nous allons appliquer le thème par défaut. Appuyez donc sur Saurik dans la liste et une flèche apparaîtra à sa droite. C’est tout, le nouveau thème par défaut a été choisi.
Étape 3 :
Quittez Winterboard en appuyant sur le bouton principal et attendez que le thème soit appliqué. Ensuite, déverrouillez le téléphone. Vous vous trouverez maintenant devant un iPhone personnalisé : le fond d’écran et les polices ont changé.

Comment annuler une modification faite par Winterboard

Si vous avez appliqué un thème ou avez apporté une modification dans la liste de Winterboard, vous pouvez l’enlever. Pour cela, il vous suffit d’aller sur Winterboard et d’appuyez sur l’élément que vous voulez enlever. Par exemple, pour enlever le thème Saurik et revenir au thème par défaut de l’iPhone, appuyez sur Saurik dans la liste de Winterboard pour le décocher.
Ensuite, quittez Winterboard en appuyant sur le bouton principal. Patientez quelques instants, déverrouillez le téléphone et le thème Saurik sera ainsi inactif. Enlever un thème ou une modification par ce procédé
ne les supprime pas.

Comment obtenir plus de thèmes pour Winterboard

Winterboard, une fois installée ne vous propose qu’un seul thème, le thème Saurik. Pour vous en procurez d’autres :
Étape 1 :
Appuyez sur Cydia pour la lancer

Étape 2 :
Appuyez sur Sections qui se trouve en bas de l’écran.

Étape 3 :
Naviguez dans la liste et cherchez l’élément Themes(Complete) et appuyez dessus pour le sélectionner.
Étape 4 :
Vous vous trouvez devant une liste alphabétique de thèmes. Dans cette liste, choisissez-en un. Je choisis par exemple le thème Vista Mobile en appuyant dessus.
Comment obtenir l’aperçu d’un thème avant de l’installer :
Étape 5 :
Les informations complémentaires sur le thème s’afficheront. Naviguez dans la page et cherchez Screenshots(notez que certains thèmes ne proposent pas d’aperçu). Appuyez dessus et attendez le chargement de la page.
Vous aurez ensuite un aperçu du thème en question (allez en bas de la page, car des fois ils mettent des pubs au début).
Étape 6 :
Appuyer sur Details en haut à gauche de l’écran pour revenir sur la page précédente.
Étape 7 :
Pour installer ce thème (si ce dernier vous plaît), appuyez sur Install en haut à droite.
Étape 8 :
Appuyez sur Confirm et attendez l’installation du thème.
Étape 9 :
Une fois l’installation terminée, appuyez sur Return to Cydia qui apparaît en gros en bas de l’écran.

Vous pouvez désormais quitter Cydia en appuyant sur le bouton principal de votre iPhone.
Vous aurez maintenant le thème choisi installé. Pour appliquer le thème, suivez les étapes, Comment appliquer un thème avec Winterboard et choisissez le thème installé dans la liste de Winterboard pour l’appliquer.

Tutoriel : Le désimlock de votre iPhone 4/3GS sous iOS 6

A l’heure actuelle, la Dev-Team n’a pas encore mis à jour Ultrasn0w, son utilitaire de désimlock officieux, pour ajouter la compatibilité avec iOS 6. Il vous est donc impossible de desimlocker votre iPhone 3GS et iPhone 4 sous la dernière version d’iOS sans passer par votre opérateur.
Nous vous proposons donc une solution : utiliser Ultrasn0w Fixer qui, combiné à Ultrasn0w, corrigera le problème de compatibilité en rendant possible le desimlock sous l’iOS 6.

Préambule :

Premièrement, votre iPhone 3GS ou votre iPhone 4 dois impérativement être Jailbreaké sous iOS 6 pour que vous puissiez installer Ultrasn0w via Cydia. Pour réaliser le jailbreak, référez-vous à notre tutoriel complet.
Ensuite, il faut que le Baseband de votre appareil soit compatible avec Ultrasn0w pour que le désimlock soit possible. Pour connaitre votre Baseband, allez dans Réglages > Général > Informations > Prog.Modem. Les Basebands compatibles sont les suivants :

• iPhone 3GS : 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 et 06.15.00 (Baseband de l’iPad).
• iPhone 4 : 01.59.00

Si votre iPhone rempli ces deux conditions, vous pouvez poursuivre.

Tutoriel de désimlock sous iOS 6, pour iPhone 3GS et iPhone 4

Etape 1

1. Ouvrez Cydia et rendez-vous dans la section « Recherche ».
2. Trouvez et installez Ultrasn0w
3. Relancez votre Springboard en effectuant un respring

Etape 2

1. Ouvrez de nouveau Cydia et rendez-vous dans la section « Gérer »
2. Allez dans Sources > Modifier > Ajouter
3. Entrez la source suivante : http://Repo.iparelhos.com/

Etape 3

1. Lorsque Cydia a rafraichi les nouvelles données, parcourez la nouvelle source
2. Installez le paquet Ultrasn0w Fixer for 6.0
3. Quittez Cydia et éteignez votre iPhone

Etape 4

1. Placez une nouvelle carte SIM dans votre iPhone, maintenant que celui-ci est désimlocké.
2. Allumez votre iPhone. Pensez à utiliser la fonction « Just Boot » de Redsn0w si votre Jailbreak est de type tethered.
3. Vous pouvez désormais utiliser votre iPhone avec n’importe quelle carte SIM !

TeamViewer is a free tool that makes it incredibly easy to set and use a VPN connection; a Virtual Private Network that lets you take complete control of another PC from your own computer, whether they're separated by a soda can or a continent (and as long as both machines are running TeamViewer). It enables two-way connections in which users can flip control back and forth. TeamViewer also lets you hold virtual meetings with multiple participants (again, they all must have TeamViewer installed). With a name like TeamViewer, you'd expect it to be an enterprise-ready tool, and you'd be right: TeamViewer's robust simplicity is what happens when multiple users of vastly different skills need to use software. After a while, the bugs get squashed pretty firmly. But TeamViewer is free to non-commercial users. That means you can use it to access your work and home PCs remotely, of course. But you can also install it on your mom's PC (for example) and provide tech support from home.

We installed and opened TeamViewer on two Windows 7 PCs; one a 64-bit desktop, the other a 32-bit netbook. TeamViewer provides a user name and password for each machine. You simply need to enter each machine's numbers in the other to create a connection. The host PC's screen displays the remote PC's desktop in a window, and the host machine's mouse and keyboard control the remote PC's counterparts. We tried the Meeting tool, too, but since we had TeamViewer installed on just two PCs, our pool of invitees was a bit small. TeamViewer is simply the easiest tool of its type we've used, and a far cry from the VPN apps of not so long ago. And it can cut down on the phone tag when friends and family need tech support!

If you watch a lot of television, it might be tough to archive all your favorite shows solely in your head. This portable, IMDb-esque download tells you all the essential info about TV shows within a snazzy interface, but it doesn't have much usefulness without a built-in media player.

The program mainly operates as a downloadable version of the Web site TheTVDB.com, a community-driven and open database of televisions shows. Along with episode, actor, and other info from TheTVBD.com, Free TvDB also uses several Web sites, primarily clips from YouTube, to bring users further content related to their favorite shows.

Free TvDB is is advertised as being focused on anime, but it's easy to find dramas, comedies, mini-series, or reality TV shows, too. Each show has its own page with menus for cast, photos, and episode guides. If you own the program, you can track the format (digital downloads, DVDs, Blu-ray, etc.) as well as other inventory data. The program can't play any of the files you already have on your computer, but it does include 1,026 TV show intros and counting, all powered by YouTube, natch. While it's cool the app links to classic TV intros like "Manimal," "Perfect Strangers," and "The Phoenix," it gets serious points off for opening YouTube links in Internet Explorer (instead of my default browser).

Free TvDB is a neat little encyclopedia for TV shows. It seems like a no-brainer if you are familiar with and use TheTVDB.com. Other users with a need for a basic DVD or digital TV inventory system should give it a try. People with more-advanced needs for playing the TV shows they already own should pass.

SlimBrowser

There aren't that many Internet browsers. It was interesting to come across one that isn't as well-known or as well-advertised as the others: SlimBrowser. We can't say much about the security of this browser, since time will only tell, but it has some interesting features.

You can save all open sites as a Group, for example, which is a very convenient feature for anyone that has to regularly open the same sites simultaneously for work. There is also a Language tab, which connects you to Google in order to translate a page. It's not perfect, obviously, but it was nice to see a way to easily access such a feature. In File you can also view recently closed sites, which is nice for when you accidentally close the wrong page. You can change the skin of the browser, but most of the skins aren't aesthetically pleasing. It has a lot of the other, familiar features of other browsers so you wouldn't be missing out on those if you choose to give this a try.

Downloading this Web browser was easy. The installation was quick and easy as well. You can set up SlimBrowser to be your default browser during the installation process if you want to, but it's not required.

Looking to compete with both paid and free security suites, Avast wants to create a unified approach to your computer security. Long gone are the days of the quirky interface. Avast is accessible and robust, with an impressive list of free features and strong, though hardly stellar, performance benchmarks.

Installation
Avast has improved its installation process so it's faster than before. It's not the fastest on the market, not by a long shot, but a standard installation took us about three minutes -- around the same as last year.

Some items of note during the installation that will come up later in the review: To avoid the Windows 7 and Vista desktop gadget, or the WebRep browser add-on, you must choose the Custom install option and uncheck those here. Firefox and Internet Explorer will all block WebRep from installing by default, but it may be easier for some to cut it off here.

Automatic installation of these features is frowned upon, although Avast does provide a clear method for uninstalling them. It's just not as simple as a check box that gets its own installation window, since you have to go through the Customize menu, which makes the auto-install sort of surreptitious.

Also during the install, you are opted into Google's Drive desktop manager. If you're a Google services addict, this is a good reminder to get the client app. If not, well, it's a small piece of bloatware to uninstall later. Such are the installation blues.

Unlike last year, installing Avast once again requires a reboot. Still, the uninstallation process left no detectable traces on the desktop or in the registry.

One installation option, available only from the custom install menu, lets you sideload Avast as a secondary security program to supplement your main one. We're not big fans of this option from a security point-of-view, because it can bog down your system resources without actually making you safer. However, as a way to see if you like Avast, it's not a bad thing as long as you remember to choose one security suite to go with.
